Congresswoman Granger is co-hosting an IN-PERSON North Texas Academy Day on Saturday morning, August 28th at Guyer High School, 7501 Teasley Lane, Denton, TX 76201.

This informational outreach event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 8:00 AM – 12:00 NOON; registration opens at 7:30 AM. North Texas students, grades 8-12, will have the opportunity to learn more about our nation's service academies, requirements for admission and the selection process. Parents, Mentors, Guidance Counselors and other School officials are also welcome to attend.
In addition to congressional staff, representatives from all five academies (U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy), as well as current academy cadets and midshipmen, and representatives from DODMERB and Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps ROTC are invited to be on hand to answer questions and distribute information. Attendees can meet with these representatives on a one-to-one basis to become informed about the excellent educational opportunities available to qualified young men and women who want to serve their country.
