Dear Friends-- I want to provide you with a brief update on some of the meetings and events that I had with constituents during the August district work period. Although you may have heard it referred to as “August recess,” the word “recess” is misleading.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Today, Congresswoman Kay Granger (TX-12) took part in a federal aviation grant announcement at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, along with U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, and others.
Congresswoman Kay Granger (TX-12) took part in a Congressional diplomatic delegation that met with Russian government officials this week in Russia. Congresswoman Granger issued the following statement after the meetings:
