Granger Unveils New Website - April 19, 2001
Washington, DC - Congresswoman Kay Granger (TX-12) proudly announces the redesign of her Official Congressional Website www.house.gov/granger
Granger notes, "During my years as Mayor of Fort Worth, and now as a Member of Congress, I have always tried to be accessible to my constituents. I am hopeful this new website will allow me to better serve constituents and the entire 12th District. Please use the website often and keep me informed of your views."
The website has special features for constituents such as: information for help with federal agencies, a listing on how to obtain a U.S. Service Academy Appointment, registers of federal grants sources, and a guide to visiting the Nation's Capital. There are hundreds of links to government, media, Texas and Washington, DC websites.
There is also a new email sign-up option that allows visitors to customize the kinds of informational updates they would like to receive from the Congresswoman.
Current news regarding Congresswoman Granger and the Twelfth District of Texas, information on legislation she has sponsored, as well as the Congresswoman's positions on various issues are all available on the site.
