Washington D.C.--- Yesterday, Rep. Granger participated in the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) roundtable on bi-partisanship with Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY) and released the following statement.
“I was proud to share the stage with my friend Nita Lowey and show our common belief that we stand firmly behind Israel. We must continue to support and nurture our relationship with Israel to maintain our strongest regional alliance and protect the world from bad actors. I will continue to work with my Republican and Democrat friends to ensure this happens.”
Background:
The AIPAC policy conference is in Washington D.C. from March 24-26 and approximately 18,000 people will attend. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left from the conference early to head back to Tel-Aviv where a rocket fired from Gaza had struck a home outside of the city and injured 7 Israelis.
