WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Kay Granger, the Chairwoman of the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee in the House of Representatives, announced that she will attend the World Economic Forum this week in Davos, Switzerland. This annual meeting brings together leaders in politics, business, academia, the arts and the non-profit sector from around the world for an intensive discussion of economics and geopolitics.
Congresswoman Granger was one of just seven Members of the House of Representatives to receive an invitation, due to her role as Chairwoman of the State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee, and her recognized expertise in the areas of foreign policy and foreign aid.
