WASHINGTON – Top Appropriations Committee Republican Kay Granger (R-TX) released the following statement following the House of Representatives passing H.R. 6201, the second coronavirus relief bill.

“The American people expect and deserve a comprehensive, coordinated response to the coronavirus. Following President Trump’s decisive actions today to declare this disease a national emergency, the House of Representatives was finally able to come together in a bipartisan way to pass important legislation to continue to test those who may be infected and address the economic damage this crisis is having on our nation,” said Ranking Member Kay Granger.

"I applaud the President’s leadership to protect our economy by ensuring that small businesses have the resources they need to keep their doors open and providing hard-working Americans important relief if they or their family members become infected and are unable to work."
