Dear Friend,

During this season for giving thanks, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for our great nation and those who serve.  This year has been a tough one, and many families across Texas continue to struggle in this tough economic climate.  But we are a strong nation, and I believe will persevere through these hard times.  As you gather around the dinner table to give thanks this year, I hope you will also remember those who have fought for the freedoms and opportunities our country is blessed with – especially those who are separated from their families at this time because of their service to our country abroad.  On behalf of my family and my staff, I wish you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
