WASHINGTON – Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX), Chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, welcomed the announcement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that North Texas has been selected as the home for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) customer experience hub.
Granger led Texas congressional delegation efforts, alongside health care partners, urging the director of ARPA-H to select North Texas as a hub location.
"Today, I celebrate the selection of Pegasus Park in North Texas as the future site of ARPA-H’s customer experience hub.
“North Texas is uniquely qualified to be home to the new facility, which was created to accelerate the pace of biomedical research and deliver transformative health solutions. This facility will not only contribute to our rapidly growing economy in Texas but also utilize our skilled workforce.
“Texas is the fastest growing state in the country. It is home to world-renowned medical institutions, universities, companies, and nonprofits, all working together to improve human health.
“I look forward to the life-saving innovations this ARPA-H facility will develop. Welcome to the great state of Texas.”
