FORT WORTH, Texas- Congresswoman Kay Granger (R-Fort Worth) has announced she will accept applications for nominations to the U.S. Military Academies until November 15, 2003.
"Attending a military academy is the opportunity of a lifetime," says Granger. "Every interested student in the 12th district should feel free to contact my office to see if a military academy education might be right for him or her."
Granger’s congressional office will accept applications from any resident of the 12th Congressional District - which includes the Northeast and Western portions of Tarrant County and all of Parker County - who is eligible to enter college in the fall of 2004.
Congresswoman Granger will make nominations to the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, the Naval Academy, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
The deadline for applications is Saturday, November 15, 2003. Application forms and additional information may be obtained from the Congresswoman’s office at 1701 River Run Road, Suite 407, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
